This piece was created for a private chapel in Whiteman’s Valley, New Zealand. It fuses two Maori Koru spirals with the Celtic Tree of Life, which both symbolize new life, growth, and strength. Since the chapel is most often used for weddings, it is the first image a new couple sees as they walk under it and out the chapel doors into their new life together. It is a companion to the altar piece Michael designed, and we also worked together making the custom framing pieces.
